Dr. Elina Newman for Lincoln City Council

Many of you have followed me from day 1. Some of you are new to my journey to get on the City Council. Regardless of where you are, I want you, my fellow Americans, to know a few things about me.

1. I don't do drama. I am pretty direct and factual. So, if you hear something that seems fishy or contrary to what I have stated in the past, chances are it is a rumor. If you want to know the truth, please message me directly. I have nothing to hide.

2. I cannot face another "stay and we kill you; leave and you'll live" moment in my life. This is why I am running for the City Council. I came to the US for freedom and protection. I intend to work hard to ensure that THAT does not change. I fully support and uphold the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights. There are no "ifs," "ands," or "buts." 

3. I cannot be bought or coerced. Money and status mean nothing to me. I lived without either of those for the majority of my life. I foster relationships and connections with others. I offer unique ideas, thoughts, and perspectives. I want to ensure that people in the US continue to enjoy the freedoms that they have, that they continue to raise their children, and that the US continues to prosper as a nation.

Thank you ALL for the kind words and support that I have received from all of you over the years. I will continue to work hard for you and our children and grandchildren. We have got to get things under control. Otherwise, we WILL NOT have a country.
