I fear we are being entertained by our own destruction.

I also feel like we've reached a point where the kind of government that many are cheering on and hoping for is really not a hell of a lot different than the kind of government which conservatives claim to abhor.

If you are among the many who are parroting the propaganda talking points below, then please feel free to share in the comments exactly where it is you have gotten the information which confirms these assertions. If you believe these things (and many do!), please tell me on what basis it is that you do. Can you point me to the evidence of these assertions so that I may verify the truth of them for myself?
